Vantagepoint AI makes the Inc 5000 list again

Vantagepoint A.I. Recognized Again as One of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America

According to the Wall Street Journal, about 8.5% of small businesses close every year; and, while the pandemic certainly added to that number, it was not as high according to Federal Reserve economists had thought it would be. Thank goodness!

Privately-held small businesses are the engines of our local economies. I’m proud to say we have been a stable force here in the Tampa Bay area for over 42 years. I’m also proud to say that Vantagepoint A.I. has been recognized as one of America’s FASTEST-Growing, Private Companies in the entire United States as part of the Inc. 5000 List again!

Even in the throes of a pandemic, we were able to grow our product and our business, welcoming almost twice as many new traders to our Vantagepoint family as we had last year. This is our second year in a row on Inc. magazine’s annual list of the fastest-growing private companies across the nation. Our small, family-owned company made the 2021 list with a 151% growth based on percentage revenue growth when comparing the past three years of growth.

I have to say, being on the Inc. 5000 list this year really is a signpost for Vantagepoint. Our top priority was to ensure the safety of our team and also make sure that our internal changes went unnoticed by our traders as we navigated a new normal amid a public health crisis. I am so impressed that my team was able to create so much growth for our company!

In the process, we have also grown our team to meet the needs of so many new traders joining our family. I anticipate that 2022 will find us continuing this pace of growth and expanding our services for our traders.

We are on a path of innovation that provides meaningful, useful benefits for our family of traders that help make their lives easier. By my measure, that can only mean continued success!

This award is especially meaningful to me because it is directly impacted by how our team feels about being part of our Vantagepoint family. As the President of Vantagepoint, I am deeply aware of my responsibility to care for our team and our business.

We offer our team full medical, dental, and vision coverage and maintains a workplace culture centered around our core values of teamwork, communication, purpose, innovation, respect, integrity, and passion to guide every decision and action at all levels of the company.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2021 Fast 50, a list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in Tampa Bay, has recognized Vantagepoint AI again.

This award recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the Tampa area, the fastest growing area of the Southeastern United States. The award is based on percentage of annual growth over a three-year period. Companies must be privately held, locally owned, and headquartered in one of the seven Tampa area counties.

Tampa Bay is regularly named a top place to live and we’re home to championship football, hockey, and baseball teams – we like to mention that! It is also home to a fast-growing economy. My father, Louis Mendelsohn, was an early adopter! He moved to the area and founded our company here over 41 years ago. Just like the financial markets, we see trends before they happen!

This has been quite a year and our Vantagepoint family of traders continues to grow quickly.

I think that’s due to our mission of taking white-glove care of our customers and our team. Vantagepoint "Delivers The Good" in the 3rd annual food drive

Delivering The Good

We held our annual Food Drive in honor of my younger brother, Lee, at the beginning of Q1. The pandemic required that my team be very creative when it came to donating and they definitely rose to the occasion.

I asked traders to take a guess at how many pounds of food my team would donate. We had a wide variety of guesses and some of our traders had some massive faith in us. I’m pleased to share with you that a newer Vantagepoint family member, Brent S., came the closest.

My team donated almost 2,500 pounds of food!

This makes a huge difference in our community; many people here were struggling in the midst of the pandemic. We were able to donate over 800 pounds of food to THREE local food banks.

My team continues to amaze me every day. Brent, our top guesser, has also noticed too. He recently posted on a national board about us, “Congratulations Lane on such a magnificent organization. Your awards are duly deserved. My best to you and your team.”

That post meant a lot to all of us! I think what was most telling about our food drive was how much it meant to my team to be able to make a difference in so many lives.

Changing lives is something we love doing here at Vantagepoint. We hear from traders every day who are using Artificial Intelligence from our predictive forecasts to upgrade their trading and nothing motivates my team more! It’s a joy that we can pay our successes forward and help those in our community who need a little extra right now.

Our Commitment to Our Team Wins Awards Again, But This Year It Carries Extra Meaning

On Wednesday, April 21st, we were part of an online awards celebration with the Tampa Bay Business Journal celebrating the Best Places to Work. We were all thrilled when Vantagepoint AI was recognized as #4 in Large Workplace category.

We’ve moved up the ranks over the years starting in a category for small companies with a handful of employees. Our recognition this year alongside many national firms doing business in the Tampa Bay Area is a milestone for us.

And, I have to say, this year’s win is also especially meaningful to me. COVID-19’s impact on our community and the challenge of maintaining our company culture while our team was deployed to working from home required some creativity, ingenuity and innovation. That my team was able to flourish in the midst of unusual conditions speaks volumes about our Vantagepoint family bond and our exceptional leadership team.

This year’s rankings, based on employee surveys, were especially close. Tampa Bay is an up and coming, dynamic market in the country; the competition for all-star talent is fierce. As a business owner, I’m honored to be recognized for our care of our team and our culture alongside some of the titans of business in our country. I’m so proud of my team, their exuberance for changing lives, and their commitment to our traders.

It’s such a unique time we are all walking through. My team is working from their homes, the awards ceremony was virtual…and still, it means so much to us.
