This is really an honor! My father, Louis Mendelsohn, was ahead of his time when he started to explore how artificial intelligence could be used for better information when trading in the financial markets. I am honored that I can become the second generation of leadership for our family-owned business and help it to continue to succeed beyond our family’s wildest dreams.

My background is probably a bit different than most AI executives; I literally grew up in the company. In face, I have always been deeply involved in it.  At 15, I began working for the company full time and I developed our first website before the internet was really even a thing. Now I’ve begun involving my daughters in the business and they are so excited to be part of it.

Vantagepoint is unique in the marketplace; we continue to offer retail traders institutional level intelligence and powerful machine learning insights. I’ve been at the helm of the company for over a decade now, and one of the things I find especially gratifying is knowing that I took the foundation that my father built and expanded upon it. I have also been able to blaze new trails to keep the company at the cutting-edge of technology. I can’t wait to see what ideas my daughters will bring the family business!

People often ask me how I’ve been able to create a cutting-edge company. As I explained in the interview with Analytics Insight, we’ve built our foundation on key values: integrity, communication, passion, purpose, teamwork, positivity, innovation, and respect. These core values guide our every decision whether it’s hiring, partnerships, or selling our software. Our mission is to Empower Traders Daily, but we can only do that if we are coming from the right place and serving our customers (and our employees) from the foundation of these values.  If we try to short cut any of these, our success will be compromised.  We, as both my family and as our bigger family of team members and traders, have worked hard to create something – we will never risk it by cutting corners.
