The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2021 Fast 50, a list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in Tampa Bay, has recognized Vantagepoint AI again.

This award recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the Tampa area, the fastest growing area of the Southeastern United States. The award is based on percentage of annual growth over a three-year period. Companies must be privately held, locally owned, and headquartered in one of the seven Tampa area counties.

Tampa Bay is regularly named a top place to live and we’re home to championship football, hockey, and baseball teams – we like to mention that! It is also home to a fast-growing economy. My father, Louis Mendelsohn, was an early adopter! He moved to the area and founded our company here over 41 years ago. Just like the financial markets, we see trends before they happen!

This has been quite a year and our Vantagepoint family of traders continues to grow quickly.

I think that’s due to our mission of taking white-glove care of our customers and our team. We have exciting innovations in the development stream for our traders and we look forward to more and more success stories from our long-time and new traders. Our Commitment to Our Team Wins Awards Again, But This Year It Carries Extra Meaning

On Wednesday, April 21st, we were part of an online awards celebration with the Tampa Bay Business Journal celebrating the Best Places to Work. We were all thrilled when Vantagepoint AI was recognized as #4 in Large Workplace category.

We’ve moved up the ranks over the years starting in a category for small companies with a handful of employees. Our recognition this year alongside many national firms doing business in the Tampa Bay Area is a milestone for us.

And, I have to say, this year’s win is also especially meaningful to me. COVID-19’s impact on our community and the challenge of maintaining our company culture while our team was deployed to working from home required some creativity, ingenuity and innovation. That my team was able to flourish in the midst of unusual conditions speaks volumes about our Vantagepoint family bond and our exceptional leadership team.

This year’s rankings, based on employee surveys, were especially close. Tampa Bay is an up and coming, dynamic market in the country; the competition for all-star talent is fierce. As a business owner, I’m honored to be recognized for our care of our team and our culture alongside some of the titans of business in our country. I’m so proud of my team, their exuberance for changing lives, and their commitment to our traders.

It’s such a unique time we are all walking through. My team is working from their homes, the awards ceremony was virtual…and still, it means so much to us.

I’m so excited — Vantagepoint AI, LLC (www.vantagepointsoftware.com) has been selected for the tenth time as one of the Best Places To Work in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

When you consider that my dad started this as a small, home-based business over 40 years ago, it’s astounding to stand back and see that Vantagepoint has grown into a world leader providing artificial intelligence software to independent traders. What makes me even happier is that Vantagepoint has created a family of tens of thousands of traders in over 120 countries around the globe, and our internal family continues to grow right along with it.

In case you haven’t heard, my father, Louis Mendelsohn, was the first person to make strategy back-testing commercially available for independent traders back in 1979. We continue to carry on his work by staying on the cutting-edge with both our product line and our workplace culture. Early on, my father established our ethos with a high level of caring for our customers while also being fiercely dedicated to our team. As I continue to lead the company, I’m committed to our culture and continuing to be part of what makes Tampa a great place to live and work.

I am thrilled to be recognized by our team as a place that cares about them and I will always work to create an atmosphere for all of us that brings joy, excited, purpose, passion, and fun to our workplace.

Along with this award, Vantagepoint has also been recognized by the Business Journal for our philanthropic work. We were awarded the ONE Tampa Bay Award by the Business Journal.

Vantagepoint regularly donates a portion of its revenue to Shriners Hospitals for Children and The Children’s Cancer Center along with donating goods, man/woman power, and monies to a wide variety of local charities. To date, with your help, we have donated more than $670,000 to local non-profits.

Both the ONE and Best Place to Work awards speak to the foundation of our culture; as a company we all work to provide a five-star experience for our family of traders and our internal team, we are also committed to sharing our success and joy forward with the community.

I feel that the Tampa Bay area has been the perfect place for our company to put down roots and build our family. Today my girls, Rachael and Abby, are learning the fundamentals of our business and the values that are essential to our success.
